From November 5 to 7, 2025, SECC was filled with energy and excitement as Vietnam Energy Week, HVACR Vietnam, and the Vietnam Supporting Industry Fair took place simultaneously.
Three sectors — energy, HVACR, and supporting industries — came together naturally, creating a dynamic space for technology connection and collaboration.

Over three busy days, thousands of businesses, engineers, and experts from across the region explored new solutions, met potential partners, and updated themselves on the latest market trends. The intersection of the three exhibitions became a unique highlight, where every activity complemented each other and contributed to a more complete picture of industry development.

Energy Pavilion – Strategic Insights & New Technologies

This year’s energy area showcased a wide range of solutions: solar and wind power, energy storage, smart grids, and digital platforms for operational management. Interactive booths and system simulations helped visitors clearly visualize how these technologies bring real value to businesses.

Technical conferences on policy, data centers, infrastructure, and the transition to clean power attracted strong interest, providing many companies with new directions and answers to operational challenges.

HVACR Vietnam – The Hub of Modern Operational Technologies

The HVACR zone introduced a diverse world of cooling, air-conditioning, and smart building solutions. Exhibitors focused on energy efficiency, emission reduction, and performance improvement for industrial facilities, data centers, hospitals, and commercial buildings.

In-depth discussions on cooling technologies, smart maintenance, high-efficiency thermal systems, and IoT applications offered practical insights highly valued by engineers and technical professionals.

Supporting Industries – Strengthening Local Production & Supply Chains

The supporting industry area played a crucial role in linking the energy and HVACR sectors. Hundreds of booths displayed mechanical components, precision parts, electrical equipment, and new materials — highlighting the strong growth of Vietnam’s supporting industries.

Business matchmaking activities took place throughout the event, helping domestic and international enterprises explore long-term cooperation opportunities and discover capable suppliers for large-scale energy and industrial projects.

Technical Conferences – A Valuable Knowledge Hub

Beyond the exhibition halls, the conference programs served as a major knowledge platform. Each session addressed real-world needs: energy optimization, operational efficiency, technology investment, compliance standards, and sustainability.

ietnam is proactively recalibrating its energy strategy in response to evolving global dynamics—especially after the U.S. withdrawal from the JETP funding commitment, which has accelerated the country’s urgency to mobilize over USD 190 billion annually through 2030. Rather than slowing down, Vietnam is leaning into this challenge. As offshore wind and LNG projects encounter hurdles, the government is turning its focus to solar energy—setting a bold target for it to account for 16% of total electricity output by 2030, with a projected capacity exceeding 211 GW—surpassing even Germany’s current levels.

However, soaring demand has also led to a 31% rise in coal imports during the first nine months of 2024. This reality presents a major opportunity to attract investment in renewable energy, while also requiring strategic solutions to balance growth with the Net Zero 2050 commitment.
